Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Scent Of Spring by Zou Chuan'An was sold in the Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 64,625.00 (€ 9,212.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Zou Chuan'An have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2005 the work Lotus was auctioned for HKD 114,000.00 (€ 11,871.73).

Die Arbeit The Scent Of Spring von Zou Chuan'An wurde im Oktober 2001 in der Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 64.625,00 (€ 9.212,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
