Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Zoltan von Boer could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Moderna auction, the work Karl XII changed hands for SEK 18,000.00 (€ 1,958.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zoltan von Boer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait with wasps, which sold at auction in October 2015 for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,329.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zoltan von Boer konnte im April 2016 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Moderna wechselte die Arbeit Karl XII für SEK 18.000,00 (€ 1.958,74) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zoltan von Boer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait with wasps beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für SEK 50.000,00 (€ 5.329,65) versteigert wurde.
