Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Still life with sweet chestnut, field scabious, ground elder and black salsify by Zinaida Serebriakova for GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,762.78). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zinaida Serebriakova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study Of A Sleeping Girl in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 3,845,000.00 (€ 5,421,401.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life with sweet chestnut, field scabious, ground elder and black salsify von Zinaida Serebriakova für GBP 75.000,00 (€ 84.762,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zinaida Serebriakova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study Of A Sleeping Girl im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.845.000,00 (€ 5.421.401,74).
