In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Young Morrocan Playing The Rubab by Zinaida Serebriakova. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 47,500.00 (€ 53,919.57), 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zinaida Serebriakova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study Of A Sleeping Girl in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 3,845,000.00 (€ 5,421,401.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Young Morrocan Playing The Rubab von Zinaida Serebriakova zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 53.919,57) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zinaida Serebriakova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study Of A Sleeping Girl im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.845.000,00 (€ 5.421.401,74).
