Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Young Man by Zinaida Serebriakova was sold in the Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,123.16) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zinaida Serebriakova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study Of A Sleeping Girl in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 3,845,000.00 (€ 5,421,401.74).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Man von Zinaida Serebriakova wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.123,16) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00.
