This artwork by Zhu Zhifan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in September 2014. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Poems In Running Script sold for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,898.64) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhu Zhifan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Running Script Calligraphy, which sold at auction in November 2011 for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,308.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Zhifan erzielte im September 2014 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Poems In Running Script für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.898,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhu Zhifan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy beobachtet, die im November 2011 für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.308,26) versteigert wurde.
