This artwork by Zhu Zhifan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Poem in Running Script sold for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,902.03) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhu Zhifan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Running Script Calligraphy, which sold at auction in November 2011 for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,308.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Zhifan erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Poem in Running Script für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.902,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhu Zhifan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy beobachtet, die im November 2011 für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.308,26) versteigert wurde.
