Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhu Zhifan achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. In the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Poem In Running Script sold for HKD 106,200.00 (€ 11,205.80) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhu Zhifan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Running Script Calligraphy, which sold at auction in November 2011 for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,308.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Zhifan erzielte im April 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Poem In Running Script für HKD 106.200,00 (€ 11.205,80) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhu Zhifan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy beobachtet, die im November 2011 für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.308,26) versteigert wurde.
