Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine Trees by Zhu Xuan was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 56,640.00 (€ 6,377.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhu Xuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape After Mi Fu, which sold at auction in September 2018 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,906.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine Trees von Zhu Xuan kam im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 56.640,00 (€ 6.377,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhu Xuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape After Mi Fu beobachtet, die im September 2018 für USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.906,56) versteigert wurde.
