Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Great Sweet Potato, No. 1 by Zhu Wei was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,006.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ink And Wash Research Lectures Series in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 7,475,000.00 (€ 709,338.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Great Sweet Potato, No. 1 von Zhu Wei kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.006,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ink And Wash Research Lectures Series im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.475.000,00 (€ 709.338,68).
