Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Diary Of The Sleepwalker, No.23 (Quadriptych) by Zhu Wei was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 22,131.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ink And Wash Research Lectures Series in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 7,475,000.00 (€ 709,338.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Diary Of The Sleepwalker, No.23 (Quadriptych) von Zhu Wei kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 22.131,71) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ink And Wash Research Lectures Series im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.475.000,00 (€ 709.338,68).
