The work Plum Blossoms by Zhu Deyi was worth HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,509.27) to a buyer in October 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Plum Blossoms the most expensive artwork by Zhu Deyi that we have observed at auctions so far.
