Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet in Clerical Script by Zhu Deyi was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. It changed hands for a price of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 2,726.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhu Deyi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Plum Blossoms in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,509.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Clerical Script von Zhu Deyi wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 2.726,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhu Deyi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Plum Blossoms im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.509,27).
