This artwork by Zhu Daoping achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2016. In the A Selection of Chen Wen Hsi Paintings and Modern and Contemporary Ink Art auction, the work Chun Pu Road With Only Bird Calls sold for HKD 21,240.00 (€ 2,499.51) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Daoping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Delicate Fragrance in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 33,799.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Daoping erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion A Selection of Chen Wen Hsi Paintings and Modern and Contemporary Ink Art wurde die Arbeit Chun Pu Road With Only Bird Calls für HKD 21.240,00 (€ 2.499,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Daoping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Delicate Fragrance im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 33.799,49).
