Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fish by Bada Shanren was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 6,830,000.00 (€ 731,258.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 6,000,000.00 – 7,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bada Shanren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Natore in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 76,910,000.00 (€ 8,889,373.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fish von Bada Shanren kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 6.830.000,00 (€ 731.258,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 6.000.000,00 – 7.000.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bada Shanren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Natore im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 76.910.000,00 (€ 8.889.373,15).
