Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birds and Flowers by Bada Shanren was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 2,394,000.00 (€ 266,299.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,000,000.00 – 3,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bada Shanren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Natore in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 76,910,000.00 (€ 8,889,373.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Birds and Flowers von Bada Shanren kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.394.000,00 (€ 266.299,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.000.000,00 – 3.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bada Shanren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Natore im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 76.910.000,00 (€ 8.889.373,15).
