Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Duck And Rock by Bada Shanren. The price achieved of HKD 240,000.00 (€ 245,086.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bada Shanren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Natore in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 76,910,000.00 (€ 8,889,373.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Duck And Rock von Bada Shanren zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 240.000,00 (€ 245.086,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bada Shanren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Natore im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 76.910.000,00 (€ 8.889.373,15).
