Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Zhu Angzhi could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape changed hands for USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,355.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhu Angzhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring Mountain in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 295,000.00 (€ 33,236.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Angzhi konnte im September 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy wechselte die Arbeit Landscape für USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.355,80) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhu Angzhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spring Mountain im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 295.000,00 (€ 33.236,17).
