A top price for Zhou Xun
This artwork by Zhou Xun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Mythic Beast sold for HKD 475,000.00 (€ 58,014.58) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. This high result makes Mythic Beast the most expensive artwork by Zhou Xun that we have observed at auctions so far.
