The work Autumn Landscape by Zhou Shaohua was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2020. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,128.47), 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zhou Shaohua; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Lotus Pond sold at auction in November 2017 with the realized price of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,729.07).

Die Arbeit Autumn Landscape von Zhou Shaohua wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.128,47) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zhou Shaohua; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Lotus Pond im November 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.729,07).
