Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhou Li achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Flowers And Birds sold for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,221.67) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhou Li - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figures, which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 354,000.00 (€ 38,961.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhou Li erzielte im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Flowers And Birds für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.221,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhou Li mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figures beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 354.000,00 (€ 38.961,88) versteigert wurde.
