Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peach Blossom No.2 (Executed In 2014) by Zhou Chunya was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 120,000.00 (€ 122,543.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 70,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Chunya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stone Series - The Tree Connected To Stone in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 32,525,000.00 (€ 3,722,477.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peach Blossom No.2 (Executed In 2014) von Zhou Chunya wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 120.000,00 (€ 122.543,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 70.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Chunya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stone Series - The Tree Connected To Stone im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 32.525.000,00 (€ 3.722.477,35).
