A top price for Zhou Chunya
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale), which included the work Stone Series - The Tree Connected To Stone by Zhou Chunya. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 32,525,000.00 (€ 3,722,477.35), 36% above the upper estimate. With this result, Stone Series - The Tree Connected To Stone is even the most expensive work of art by Zhou Chunya that we have observed at auctions so far.
