The work Rock And Bamboo / Calligraphy In Running Script / Calligraphy In Running Script by Zhong Shouren was sold in the Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in February 2021. The price achieved of HKD 15,000.00 (€ 1,598.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 12,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhong Shouren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,796.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rock And Bamboo / Calligraphy In Running Script / Calligraphy In Running Script von Zhong Shouren wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 15.000,00 (€ 1.598,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 12.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhong Shouren mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.796,87) versteigert wurde.
