A top price for Zhong Shouren - as previously expected
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Zhong Shouren was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,796.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu is the most expensive artwork by Zhong Shouren that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu von Zhong Shouren kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.796,87) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhong Shouren, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
