It achieved a price of USD 3,570.00 (€ 3,218.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Admittedly, works by Zhao Yunhe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vegetables And Calligraphy in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 259,600.00 (€ 28,572.05).

Die Arbeit Lotus World, 1935 von Zhao Yunhe wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.570,00 (€ 3.218,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhao Yunhe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vegetables And Calligraphy im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 259.600,00 (€ 28.572,05).
