This artwork by Zhao Qi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2015. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Flowers And Rocks sold for USD 50,000.00 (€ 46,550.60) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00.
