Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Wang Wei'S Poem In Running Script by Zhang Zhao was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2016. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,266.90). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Zhao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy after Mi Fu in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 17,460,000.00 (€ 1,670,335.24).
