Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Zhao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy after Mi Fu in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 17,460,000.00 (€ 1,670,335.24).

Die Arbeit Tao Yuanming'S Poem In Running Script von Zhang Zhao kam im März 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.779,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Zhao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy after Mi Fu im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.460.000,00 (€ 1.670.335,24).
