Artwork auctioned at six times the upper estimate price
The work Song of Sunset by Zhang Yingnan was worth HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 112,126.04) to a buyer in October 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Yingnan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Echo (Painted In 2019) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,320,000.00 (€ 1,347,978.26).
Kunstwerk zum Sechsfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Song of Sunset von Zhang Yingnan war einem Käufer im Oktober 2021 HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 112.126,04) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yingnan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Echo (Painted In 2019) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.320.000,00 (€ 1.347.978,26).
