Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhang Yingnan achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Poplar sold for HKD 744,000.00 (€ 92,835.91) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Yingnan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Echo (Painted In 2019) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,320,000.00 (€ 1,347,978.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Yingnan erzielte im Juli letzten Jahres bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Poplar für HKD 744.000,00 (€ 92.835,91) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yingnan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Echo (Painted In 2019) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.320.000,00 (€ 1.347.978,26).
