This artwork by Zhang Yingnan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July last year. In the Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong auction, the work Entwined Luminescence No. 2 sold for HKD 756,000.00 (€ 94,333.27) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Yingnan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Echo (Painted In 2019) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,320,000.00 (€ 1,347,978.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Yingnan erzielte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong wurde die Arbeit Entwined Luminescence No. 2 für HKD 756.000,00 (€ 94.333,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 400.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yingnan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Echo (Painted In 2019) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.320.000,00 (€ 1.347.978,26).
