Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work 3030 by Zhang Yingnan was worth HKD 1,134,000.00 (€ 137,999.43) to a buyer in June last year. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale at Phillips in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Zhang Yingnan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Echo (Painted In 2019) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,320,000.00 (€ 1,347,978.26).
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit 3030 von Zhang Yingnan war einem Käufer im Juni letzten Jahres HKD 1.134.000,00 (€ 137.999,43) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Yingnan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Echo (Painted In 2019) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.320.000,00 (€ 1.347.978,26).
