Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work River Village by Zhang Yin was worth HKD 167,300.00 (€ 16,853.38) to a buyer in October 2004. This price was achieved in the auction FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Yin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscapes, which sold at auction in June 2015 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 46,261.43).

Die Arbeit River Village von Zhang Yin war einem Käufer im Oktober 2004 HKD 167.300,00 (€ 16.853,38) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 46.261,43) versteigert wurde.
