Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2000 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY, which included the work Reading Under The Shade Of A Wutong Tree by Zhang Yin. The price achieved of HKD 32,900.00 (€ 4,970.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Yin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 46,261.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2000 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reading Under The Shade Of A Wutong Tree von Zhang Yin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 32.900,00 (€ 4.970,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Yin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 46.261,43).
