The work Leisure Cruise by Zhang Yin was worth HKD 300,000.00 (€ 28,699.92) to a buyer in November 2011. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zhang Yin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscapes sold at auction in June 2015 with the realized price of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 46,261.43).
