Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Album Of Flowers And Landscape by Zhang Xueliang. It changed hands for a price of HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,638.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Xueliang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphic Couplet in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 980,000.00 (€ 96,827.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Album Of Flowers And Landscape von Zhang Xueliang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 118.000,00 (€ 13.638,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Xueliang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 980.000,00 (€ 96.827,25).
