Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tigers Resting by the River by Zhang Shanzi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 302,400.00 (€ 36,562.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 240,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shanzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prowling Tiger in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 4,220,000.00 (€ 403,712.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tigers Resting by the River von Zhang Shanzi wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 302.400,00 (€ 36.562,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 240.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shanzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Prowling Tiger im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.220.000,00 (€ 403.712,18).
