Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tiger by Zhang Shanzi was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. The price achieved of HKD 113,400.00 (€ 13,121.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shanzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prowling Tiger in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 4,220,000.00 (€ 403,712.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tiger von Zhang Shanzi wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 113.400,00 (€ 13.121,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shanzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Prowling Tiger im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.220.000,00 (€ 403.712,18).
