Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Tiger by Zhang Shanzi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 2,902.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shanzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prowling Tiger in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 4,220,000.00 (€ 403,712.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tiger von Zhang Shanzi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 24.000,00 (€ 2.902,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shanzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Prowling Tiger im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.220.000,00 (€ 403.712,18).
