Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scholar Under The Pine Trees by Zhang Shanzi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October this year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 144,000.00 (€ 17,414.08), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shanzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prowling Tiger in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 4,220,000.00 (€ 403,712.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scholar Under The Pine Trees von Zhang Shanzi wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 144.000,00 (€ 17.414,08) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shanzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Prowling Tiger im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.220.000,00 (€ 403.712,18).
