The work Tiger in the Bamboo Forest by Zhang Shanzi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 239,400.00 (€ 28,421.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Shanzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prowling Tiger in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 4,220,000.00 (€ 403,712.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tiger in the Bamboo Forest von Zhang Shanzi kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 239.400,00 (€ 28.421,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Shanzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Prowling Tiger im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.220.000,00 (€ 403.712,18).
