Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rabbits by Zhang Ruo'Ai was sold in the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2003. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 59,750.00 (€ 6,222.54), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Ruo'Ai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Landscape in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 18,040,000.00 (€ 2,085,090.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rabbits von Zhang Ruo'Ai wurde im Juli 2003 in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 59.750,00 (€ 6.222,54) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Ruo'Ai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Landscape im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.040.000,00 (€ 2.085.090,26).
