Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Asia: China, Korea, Japan, which included the work Yellow, Blue And Red (Three Panels) by Zhang Peili. The price achieved of USD 67,000.00 (€ 47,120.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Peili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Series "X?" No. 3 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 23,060,000.00 (€ 2,003,999.73).
