Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Continuous Reproduction by Zhang Peili. It changed hands for a price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,793.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Peili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Series "X?" No. 3 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 23,060,000.00 (€ 2,003,999.73).
