Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Continuous Reproduction (Set Of Twenty-Five) by Zhang Peili. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,083.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Peili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Series "X?" No. 3 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 23,060,000.00 (€ 2,003,999.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Continuous Reproduction (Set Of Twenty-Five) von Zhang Peili zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.083,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Peili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Series "X?" No. 3 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 23.060.000,00 (€ 2.003.999,73).
