Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Continuous Reproduction (Set Of Twenty Five) by Zhang Peili was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2009. It changed hands for a price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 13,114.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 160,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Peili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Series "X?" No. 3 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 23,060,000.00 (€ 2,003,999.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Continuous Reproduction (Set Of Twenty Five) von Zhang Peili kam im Oktober 2009 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 13.114,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 160.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Peili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Series "X?" No. 3 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 23.060.000,00 (€ 2.003.999,73).
