The work Immortal Holds A Shelled Mollusk by Zhang Lu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,825.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Lu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes and Figure in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 5,175,000.00 (€ 532,781.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Immortal Holds A Shelled Mollusk von Zhang Lu kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.825,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Lu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes and Figure im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.175.000,00 (€ 532.781,32).
