Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Voice Of Missing by Zhang Kai was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 177,000.00 (€ 19,941.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Kai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Beauty in Mind in July last year with an auction result of HKD 1,020,000.00 (€ 127,275.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Voice Of Missing von Zhang Kai wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 177.000,00 (€ 19.941,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Kai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Beauty in Mind im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.020.000,00 (€ 127.275,04).
