Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Lute Table by Zhang Jinhua was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in September 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CNY 45,000.00 – 85,000.00, the actual price achieved of CNY 54,000.00 (€ 6,927.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhang Jinhua have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A SOLID TOP RECESSED-LEG TABLE in September 2018 with an auction result of CNY 300,000.00 (€ 37,583.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Lute Table von Zhang Jinhua kam im September 2019 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CNY 45.000,00 – 85.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CNY 54.000,00 (€ 6.927,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Jinhua auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A SOLID TOP RECESSED-LEG TABLE im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 300.000,00 (€ 37.583,89).
